At Forest of Dean you will find our Adventure, Challenge and Segway activities, these are split over two sites which are 15 minutes apart. Forest of Dean Beechenhurst is home to Treetop Adventure while Forest of Dean Mallards Pike offers Treetop Challenge and Segway.

The ancient Forest of Dean is one of the few remaining royal forests in England. It’s mystical, magical settings were inspiration for the Tolkien book so you can expect something special as you explore from your Treetop Adventure vantage point.

This is a forest designed for family fun - you’ll need a day to discover all it has to offer. Walk, run or cycle – there are routes for all eventualities.

Discover the famous Sculpture trail which is a four mile long walk, featuring sculptures created by artists to interpret the Forest environment and the history of this very unusual landscape.

Head to Beechenhurst Lodge Visitor Centre once you’ve worked up an appetite.

There’s a café, children’s play area and a climbing tower.

If you’re still up for more exploring once you've left the site at Beechenhurst there’s a secret world beneath the forest at Clearwell Caves.

With nine show caverns there plenty of exciting things to discover.

You can also sit back and relax as you enjoy a steam train ride through the forest on the Dean Forest Railway.
